How long until next period ?

I had a laproscophy on the 3rd and was just wondering when would my period be? I am due on around the 14th would I come on like normal?? X

Your periods may return to normal right away - but most ladies find some disruption to the cycle - My GP years ago advised me periods can go out of whack after any urgery (not ust gynae) for up to 2 years, but most settle back to routine pretty soon after.

Don't be tooshocked if it returns sooner or you even skip a period or it's a week or two late. Anything is possible.

Hello mine came on normally (as normal as can be expected) but it was a lot more painful than normal. Don't be alarmed if this happens to you, it's very common if they did anything during your lap. The blood can irritate the healing process and most women have this issue for the first 1-2 periods. Just as a precaution I would make sure you have some strong pain killers - hopefully you won't need them! But best to be prepared xxx

I came on as normal. Then15 days later I started to bleed again, thought I was on my period, then looked at the calendar and saw that id had a period 2 weeks ago. Now I'm due on today but haven't got my period as yet. I was fitted with a coil so this could have something to do with it. I'm just as confused myself. Xx

I had my lap on 25th, period due in about five days but I have the telltale signs so think I'm going to be earlier too!

Feel like sunburn in my lady area at the minute and back is killing me

I bought an electric heat pad online so hopefully that and strong painkillers will help
