Does anyone else get so down in the dumps when they are in pain?

Came on last night about midnight and have been awake ever since with the pain. Does it get anyone else really down? I could just sit and cry all the time it's awful feel so emotional. Hope all you ladies are as well as can be xx

Me too I wake up sometimes in uncontrollable crying and panic attacks. Tbh when you have endo your life is fuc...d. Sorry to be so blunt but not worth beating around the bush with this crap. Feeling v v low today too and angry that there is a whole world of doctors out there and only 2 I beleive in the world can help us, and that's comes at a ridiculous cost which not many of us can afford as most of us don't work due to this disgusting illness X

I feel alot better with my moods since I gave in and asked for help from the GP, i'm on citalopram now to give me a little boost, it does get me down of course, but unless its due to intense pain when it does hurt so bad it makes me cry I don't feel like i'm on the verge of tears 24-7 now. Are you on anything for the mental effects? I think it's something we all need to be a little kinder to ourselves about, it's not a weakness at all. Also the endo helpline ladies are fabulous and have really helped me in those times where i've just been inconsoleable.

I used to be on anti depressants but that was for a completely different reason. I'm not down all the time its just when I'm in pain and when I worry about what the future might or might not bring! I think the pain and being alone all day until my boyfriend is home doesn't help. Wp22 its sounds like your having an awful day today! And I completely feel like you do. I have had to take the day off work today because of this stupid thing! I just hate how we all have to change out lives around this stupid thing! I hope you feel better soon physically and emotionally xx
