I get really bad nausea/headaches/cramping/aches when ovulating, does anyone else get this and have any remedies?

hi. Yes I used to be awful, would feel nauseous / be sick, headaches and in alot of pain. I have stage 4 and had cysts and a full frozen pelvis. Following the Endo diet helped along with good pain management. After surgery in 2017 it more or less stopped ( just the occasional niggles nothing like I was dealing with before) so they think the cysts were causing most of the problems. X

I see okay! I currently have a polyp so I wonder if that is what is causing it as it has never been an issue for me before! I might also try out the endo diet too. Thanks x

Yes me too! I only have stage 1 endo though. I get load of pains in all my joints. Nausea. Headaches. It's so awful. Hopefully you can get some advice. I have none, but you aren't alone. X X X

I have this too! When I used to have regular periods I'd have horrible pain around then. I'm on the combined pill now which is meant to stop me ovulating so I hope it will work 🤞

Oh okay! I got put on the combined pill but it didn't do anything for me unfortunately so I stopped taking it.

Hey yes I get nauseous and gassy. Painful cramping whereby my husband has to rub my back and I drink 3 or 4 peppermint teas until it creates bowel movement. Until I've cleared my bowels the nausea just stays. Particularly bad first and second or third day of period followed by when I'm ovulating

It's awful because ive felt like this during meetings and client apts and its embarrassing.

I try and identify triggers and est no gluten and overly flavour some foods . Keep a food and pain management diary for two months and you'll see patterns emerging.

I've started keeping a pain diary now as I have a gynae check up in 4 months so hoping it will help with a diagnosis of some point as my last appointment I don't think I was taken too seriously. Will try and write down if some foods also trigger anything.
