Can anyone recommend a good multi vitamin or vitamins to take?

In the last 4weeks ive had a kidney infection, 4days later I have a stomach bug and now im home with a virus and tonsulitus. Im really worried about the amount of time I am having to take off work because im also suffering with pelvic pain possibly endo

I read when researching endometriosis that Selenium is a good vitamin to take... I have been taking it for almost a month now and have avoided the horrible bugs passing round work and my partner had tonsillitis that I didn't get. Normally I am a really sicky person but Selenium has really helped. It has not helped much with my endometriosis though... I hope you get well soon

Hi, I'm using a multivitamin that an ex bodybuilder recommended for something else. It may be coincidental but it seems to make my heavy periods lighter. It's made by Reflex Nutrition, Nexgen Multivitamin Vitality. No good for vegetarians though. Good value for what's in it £11.99 and apparently all the rugby players take it too!

HI, sorry to hear you are having so much of a yuck time. My Consultant gave me some advice which I got checked out and it is actually correct - Whatever vitamin/multi-vitamin you take, make sure it contains ZINC as without it the vitamins are useless. Zinc is what helps keep the nutrients of the other vitamins in the body. Hope this helps and you're feeling much better soon. xx
