I had a full hysterectomy a year ago and my pain has gone so successful in that respect, but I feel tired and no sex drive and moody?

I am on everel patches hrt could this be making things worse ? Or better I have no other menopause side effects

Hi Catcat, sorry to reply to your question with questions but I am currently thinking of requesting a hysterectomy and would appreciate some info please? I am tired and moody already without having had a hysterectomy; I have heard before though that the menopause can affect your sex drive in the way some contraceptive / hormone pills and injections do. Have you put on any weight since your hysterectomy? You say you have no other menopause side effects which is a positive as far as I am concerned. I could cope with those side affects if it meant I got rid of Endo and was no longer pumped full of other drugs. You say you are on several HRT patches (which I guess could be causing the symptoms you have described) but if you feel fine otherwise and are pain free I would say you did the right thing. Would you say it was still the best decision you made? I am seeing my GP this morning to discuss the next step because I have already been on 2 different hormone treatments and they are just not for me at all! I just want rid of it now. Thanks! XXX
