Hi. I had my lazer removal of my endometriosis a year ago and had a mirena IUD put in. Considering having it taken out for pregnancy.

My endometriosis was around my right ovary and had attached to my bowel. I'm so excited about trying for children but soo nervous that it isn't going to happen for me :( Any advice? Thanks, EmsTag

I once had a Mirena coil and it twisted and embedded itself in my womb. I had to have it taken out at A & E it was so painful and they warned me it could damage fertility. I did not end up having children partly because I was not maternal but also because I had endo and adhesion damage and tubes removed. Personally I don't rate or like Mirena coils and my problems involved right ovary and bowel being glued together although I also had some in the left pelvis. I wish you all the best for the future.
