I am thinking about trying raw milk as it is recommended in an endometriosis book I have... has anyone tried it and had positive or negative experience of it?
Thank you xx

I've not had it in years. Used to have it warm and fresh from the cow as a kid, because my uncle worked on a dairy farm, would go off in the early hours to do the milking and return with a jug of VERY fresh milk straight from a cow, and we had that with cornflakes.
I wouldn't risk it these days. I catch any bug passing within a few miles of the house and it takes ages to recover. cows are not clean creatures nor are the farms they live on..YUK!
Hi,
Haven't tried raw milk, but had some good results on a gluten and lactose free diet. I did go to a nutritionist though for advice. I aim for about 90% of the time, as it's pretty difficult to be gluten free without eating loads of processed food. I also read a book called Take Control of your Endometriosis which helped.
Take care.
Hi yeah I agree damselfish, being gluten free can be difficult. I went to a Swedish bakery yesterday and had cinnamon rolls and sandwiches that weren't gluten free and I was sick afterwards, not good! Yellowrose it is a book by Henrietta Norton and it is the book damselfish talks about Taking Control of Endometrisos it's called xxx
I started drinking raw milk one week ago. My Endo pain has been unrelenting for the last three years and not surgery nor going gluten free has helped (I'm still gluten free). I started raw milk and for the first time in three years I've woken up without cramps. And for the first time I don't have to have narcotics to relieve my pain. It has only been one week so I'm trying to not get too excited, but it's encouraging. The real test will be my first period. I'll know then whether I should invest in some cows or not lol
Oh that's fab, glad to hear you are experiencing a bit of pain relief I think I'll try it now and yeah having a cow would be nice lol x
