Anyone tried the Cyclesoother?

I have just had an ad pop up on my Facebook news feed for the Cyclesoother.

I've never heard of it before but it is a portable heatpad / massager and all the comments on it are people with Endo saying it's really good but I don't know how much to believe?

Before I go and waste more money on another potential fad I am just wondering if anyone here has tried it?

Thanks in advance!

If you're ever unsure of something sweetie there's ways you can check :) do a Google of the product, how many sites are there? Read the negative reviews and see what people say they disliked about it. Read the positive reviews, do they sound like a real person with endo or just someone touting a product? People after selling a product regardless of how effective it is usually use words like "100% pain relief" "amazing results" "pain free finally" as well as variations of how people have "got their life back" thanks to this amazing new thing lol. If you see that stuff then I always say to be wary of the validity of it. But you're right to be sceptical! I'll have a Google myself and see if I spot anything suss. Xxx

So there's only one 2 star review on their website, which is an alarm immediately because even the best products do not work for every single person 100%, so that indicates to me that they have deleted negative reviews.

Another flag is there's a similar product (different name, same concept) on Amazon for the same price and the reviews are awful on it. Lots of complaints, mainly on the battery and that it's ineffective for pain xxx

Wish I would have seen this before I ordered it! It had a discount that said it was going to run out... Probably another lie 🤦🏻‍♀️.

I went on to Endowithleah on Instagram because she has put it on as well and she recommended it also. I suppose the only plus side is it only cost me 24 quid and if it doesn't turn up I can claim back from PayPal...

Probably another thing to add to the no pile, the amount of money I have spent on balms, creams, patches, gizmos and gadgets over the years is actually unbelievable 😂😂.

It's because you always say anything is worth ago!

Incase you are interested I'll let you know how it is if it ever turns up.

Thank you soo much for your help though! Really kind of you xx

Don't worry sweetie! In the grand scheme of things £24 isn't a huge deal, and like you said you're covered by PayPal so that makes things easy if you need a refund. It could be great! You never know, but like you said we've all spent a fortune over the years on various things to try help and most of it goes straight in the useless pile 😂 but I guess if we don't try we never know! I'm just always super wary of these things because I've done advertising language analysis at uni and I know how they convince people that they have the miracle cure lol

Please do let me know if it is effective, or if it isn't actually too because I would be good to show a real opinion on it either way for other people here. If it's good I'll have a look myself, but so far my plug in heated pad has been the best thing I've found for pain relief :) cost me £20 and its a life saver haha I just lay down on it and it stays a constant temp for the 2 hour timer :) safer than a hot water bottle and less faff too filling it up when it goes cold :D I just click it back on again and in seconds it's hot, highly recommend them if you're a hot water bottle user! xxx

I actually have something that sounds very similar that I swear by. My partner bought it me about 18 months ago (which I think he regrets because I'm about 400 degrees to sleep next to now 😂😂). But I will defo keep you updated if it ever arrives 🤦🏻‍♀️. Thanks again xxx

Hello! Just an update, it arrived today! My honest opinion is I wouldn't recommend... It is for sure not a gift from God that will ease all endometriosis pain 😂😂.

It took a few hours to charge, the buttons on the front are like a touch pad which are a bit temperamental and only seem to work when they want.

The massage function is just very noisy with little impact but the only bonus is the heat setting. It's not as hot as my electric heat pad but it is warm and also portable unlike my electric heat pad.

So overall I'd give it a 5/10... But that may change on how long the battery lasts 😂😂. I am also not in a very good mood today so my review could be slightly negative 😂😂

Oh that's a shame :( but i guess it was worth a bash! Have you left a review? Xxx

No because I think they just delete them. I was going to comment on Facebook (where I saw the add) but the comments are only positive and I cannot be the only one who it doesn't work for 😂😂

Yeah they usually do delete negative ones, it's sad that Facebook allows that! You could review on TrustPilot and I think they have to apply to have them taken down and provide proof that the review goes against the rules etc. Might be worth a bash! Xxx

I bought mine and i have to admit that im pretty happy with it overall for the 25 quid that i paid or so. I love my hot water bottle but hated having to walk around the office constantly answering why i am wearing one haha i mean cmon its SO rude to ask all the time. I mainly just use the heat when out and about tbh but i do like the massage at home but i prefer just heat when out. My main critique tbh is the colour, i would have liked it more peachy and less pink and i find it actually can get a little too hot so i have to adjust it when need be. I used tens machines before but some of them are INSANELY expensive (over 100 pounds) and i just think that crazy money and therefore not affordable to the majority of women. I also didnt like having to buy more of the pads etc and i find its somehow less discreet in reality because its more prep in the sense of putting the gels and the pads in the right place. I never trust amazon sellers tbh because they often use significantly worse products (copies) even though they look the same and they tend to tell u to send it back to China if there is ANY kind of issue which is just insane to me and literally boils my blood lol. I mean the cyclesoother is not the perfect product due to the reasons mentioned before, but i asked my boyf to buy me another one (i like having 2 just in case lol) because he always wants to help me with my pain and i felt that it was the product that genuinely gives the most value for money and is the most effective, especially for the money paid.

Just my opinion though! I am just obsessed with heat when it comes to pain, so anything that can give me heat and is discreet for around the 25 quid mark and i get a decent amount of relief... well as much relief as u can get with endo lol considering theres no bloody cure. Also, i am a weirdo and use it all over my body like my shoulders and legs lol (the joy of it being a full body disease) which i have never done with a tens.
