Bloating!?
sure do... my regular cycle always involved a bloat and weight gain of half a stone..that was for years, but after a period started i would pee for england and the bloat would deflate.
When i had cysts growing the bloat did not subside it got weird and quite firm.
My belly button shifted over from the centre line and i noticed that several weeks before knowing i had a cyst, then the cyst burst in a spectacularly painful way.
I had a laparotomy big hole op within a few months of that and when the swelling from the surgery subsided i wasn't too bad after that, being on zoladex kept the bloat at bay.
The zoladex finished, the mirena kicked in and no periods and no bloat for nearly a year, then i began to bloat again and another cyst then burst. Since then the bloat has remained and increased in size. It is now water melon size, very uncomfy and I am sure that it's a new cyst causing this current continuous bloat.
Speaking from my own experience it seems to be cysts that cause bloat to stay with me.
Might be different for other women, but I am packing quite a preggers looking tummy right now. If it wasn't for my grey hair and wearing baggy clothes for comfort (is there such a thing?) then I reckon people probably would think I was expecting.
I certainly am not my normal shape. I have actually lost weight, half a stone, but i am so much bigger round the middle. several inches bigger than normal now. I only have 1 pair of jeans that fit..very stretchy ones...and as soon as i am in the house i undo the zipper and button to make more room. But i can at least still do that pair up if i need to go out.
The bloat is hanging over my bikini line where my op scar is. so my hip measurement is the same as ever, but above that is one very fluid filled tummy over hanging and it has been like that since last November, gradually getting bigger not smaller.
Yep, somedays it's fine and others I look 3-6 months pregnant, depending on....well, depending on nothing apparently!

Hey, thanks for your responses. It freaks me out when I bloat, normally it doesn't last so long but I've had some problems recently and the bloating lasted almost a week compared to maybe a couple of days of bloating that I would usually have! I was getting worried as to what's been causing it but it's gone down a little today...
I have an appointment and scan coming up, but spent the weekend in hospital because I had very severe pain and extremely heavy/abnormal bleeding.
I found mefenamic acid and tranexamic acid really helped to stop the bleeding, but the bloating just wasn't going away! I tried herbal teas and green teas, and those seemed to help. I also found out that eating parsley can help with inflammation?
I get bloated so much and as I am only young I get dirty looks from people thinking I'm expecting and it freaks my boyfriend out hahaha!
