Hi girls,
I had my laparoscopy almost 3 months ago now and had a Mirena coyle fitted and quite a bit of my endometriosis lazered off. I am now getting the same sharp pains around my ovary area and aching pelvis just like before. Is this common? x

It's more than likely the mirena that's causing your pains but if you're worried see your doctor. When my mirena was in I had pain all the time, I kept it in for 21 months in total but unfortunately it never settled down for me, but I know they do say you have to give it a minimum of 6 months before you know if it will help or not xx
Hi, I had the same as you a lap, endo burnt away and a mirena fitted mine took months to settle down and I did go to my G.p a couple of times as I was worried about the pain and I was still bleeding she explained it does take time, I even asked the consultant about the pain as It was awful and I can take a lot, how ever it all settled down eventually but I suggest you go to your g.p to get checked over and put your mind at rest as everyone is different and different things work for one but not the other, best wishes x
Hi, I had a lap 8 months ago was only pain free for 2months. Had my right ovary and tube removed, endo clusters removed and womb detached from my bowel. The pain I have is in the right side and pelvic area.
