Post operation worries.

It's now been 4 weeks since my laparoscopy and marena insertion and I'm still bleeding. Is this normal?

Hi, I had mine in on the 16th may, so approx 7 weeks ago and an still bleeding! Some people spot/bleed the whole 5tears they have it in! So annoying hope everything else is going ok for you x

Hi I been spotting since January and now its just easing off my mirena was fitted as out patient end of Jan this year 2013

Yes it's perfectly normal. Mine was in for 4 years before I had my hysterectomy it took 6 months of daily spotting then it settled. No more periods and pain was rarely an issue. Hope it settled and you get the relief from it. Hang in there good luck J x
