Have you improved your kidney function?

Have you managed to improve your kidney function? If so please could you share how you think you done this? thank you x I know this can differ for everyone as it can depend on what caused your kidney disease but it helps to know if our function can be improved if what you have tried worked for you. Thank you x

IAm new to kidney disease but I watched my diet no added salt and ate fruits and veggies and stopped drinking cokes and after 1 month my lab results were very much improved. I hope with this diet it will slow or stop the progression. I bought books and they list foods that are good and bad.its important to just eat very little protein chicken and fish. And everything else in moderation,

Yes my gfr went from 54 to 57 so I hope diet will continue to work. Thanks for the support helen
