Why does my urine smell so foul?

Hi all, I had a right nephrectomy 2 months ago due to CCRC. I noticed prior to operation my urine was smelling horribly, but I thought it was the cancer. I still have the same smell now! I only take Telmisartan for BP and nothing else. Has anyone else experienced the same problem?

Hi Ngaire wow! it's great the the site Health Unlocked has put the site showing the distance between each member so there is two of us in Australia you in Melbourne and myself in N.S.W. never been to Melbourne but my daughter just spent two years working there and loves it. Take care of yourself great about the cigs and hope your health is good.

Nice to meet you Gallmoe. I really felt for our NSW neighbours with the recent wild and woolly weather and the resulting power outages - must have been horrible. Until I became more "stuck" at home I did not really watch much T.V. but now I am addicted and would hate to be unable to watch it. I also think about all the frozen food lost and wasted, (Who checks to see that struggling OAP's don't re-freeze their food and then run the risk of serious illness?)

Thankyou - my health is good at this time, I manage perfectly well with one kidney but am anxious about scans and X-rays coming up. Hope you are well too! Ngaire x
