Wow! Where do I even beginning for this week's update dealing with the DEXCOM and the sensors?? It has been very odd since Wednesday this week. The sensor from last week worked a lot better than this new one. There were some hiccups with last week's sensor, but not like the one I'm using right now for this week.
¡Wow! ¿Dónde hacen yo hasta comenzando para la actualización de esta semana que trata con el DEXCOM y los sensores?? Ha sido muy raro desde el miércoles esta semana. El sensor a partir de la semana pasada trabajó mucho mejor que esta nueva. Había algunos hipos con el sensor de la semana pasada, pero no como el que que uso ahora mismo para esta semana.
I had replaced the old sensor and put a new one in on Wednesday morning before leaving the house to go to work for the day. Before leaving the house, I left a quick message for my boss so she would know that I may or may not be later than usual that morning. This tends to help sometimes when I'm stuck with a traffic jam and then needing to do medical issues. This way, she knows I'm still coming! 
Había sustituido el viejo sensor y había puesto nuevo uno en el miércoles por la mañana antes de dejar la casa para ir para trabajar para el día. Antes de dejar la casa, dejé un mensaje rápido para mi jefa por tanto sabría que puedo o puedo no ser más tarde que de costumbre esa mañana. Esto tiende a ayudar a veces cuando tengo que aguantar un atasco y luego teniendo que hacer cuestiones médicas. ¡Estos camino, sabe que todavía vengo!
When I was at my job for the Senior Center on Wednesday, I was doing the coffee and tea service. At 10:30 am, I had done the calibrations and then went back to serve more coffee until 11 am. At some point in the busy day, the system for the DEXCOM seemed to go a little odd-- even for it being its first day being used with a new sensor. This got me worried because sensors don't usually go "wonky" on their first day when I'm away from the house and having no extra spare sensors with me at the time.
Cuando estaba en mi trabajo para el Centro Mayor el miércoles, hacía el servicio de café y juego de té. A las 10:30, había hecho las calibraciones y luego volví para servir más café hasta las 11:00. A algún punto en el día ocupado, pareció que el sistema para el DEXCOM fue un poco raro - hasta para ello siendo su primer día usado con un nuevo sensor. Esto me preocupó porque los sensores no van por lo general «wonky» durante su primer día cuando estoy lejos de la casa y no teniendo ningunos sensores de repuesto suplementarios conmigo entonces.
When I was done with my work day, then it was time to do some babysitting for my Nephew and Niece. While that was giong on, the newest sensor seemed to be okay at the time. Who knew there would be blood behind the adhesive part that sticks to the skin and that there would be not much sleep for the entire night?!? The fact that there was bleeding for no good reason and being woken up by the alarms with the DEXCOM system inapproprately going off every few hours to keep everyone up for most of the night wasn't good at all. On Thursday morning, I called my boss and called out saying I needed sleep and I wouldn't be able to come to work since I was exhausted and had a massive headache. You know when it's really bad if I call out from work because I never want to miss anything.
Cuando me hice con mi día laborable, entonces era tiempo de hacer un poco de cuidado de los niños para mi Sobrino y Sobrina. Mientras esto iba en, pareció que el sensor más nuevo era bien entonces. ¿Quién sabía que habría sangre detrás de la parte adhesiva que se atiene a la piel y que habría no mucho sueño para la noche entera?!? El hecho que allí no sangraba por ninguna buena razón y era despertado por las alarmas con el sistema DEXCOM inapproprately marcharse cada pocas horas para guardar a cada uno para la mayor parte de la noche no estaba bien en absoluto. El jueves por la mañana, llamé a mi jefe y llamé el refrán que tenía que dormir y no sería capaz de venir para trabajar ya que me agoté y tenía un dolor de cabeza masivo. Sabe cuando es realmente malo si llamo del trabajo porque nunca quiero perder algo.
Wednesday evening, I had gotten an e-mail from DEXCOM saying that I should expect my new, free sensor should be coming in the next few days next week coming up. I'm hoping that one works better than the "wonky" one!
El miércoles por la tarde, había conseguido un correo electrónico de DEXCOM refrán que debería esperar que mi sensor nuevo, libre debería venir en los próximos días la próxima semana subiendo. ¡Espero que uno trabaje mejor que el «wonky» un!
Along with the other issues, at one point, the system couldn't find me even though I was right there next to it. Not sure how that works, but it did happen.
