I know this is a few days earlier than planned, but I wanted to type this before there wasn't going to be enough time on the actual day for the new sensor and old sensor to be inserted/removed...... So, here we go!

To start off with, the sensor that was inserted on Friday last week is working fairly well. Not too much to complain about so far. It needed some time to get in tune with the body, but it wasn't that hard. It was way off two days ago and I had to recalibrate more than the two times a day method, but that wasn't so bad.

As I'm typing this, the DEXCOM says that my number right now is 255 and the arrow is angling down. I'm hoping for a sideways arrow coming very soon. There has been too many straight down arrows today!

This morning (4:20 USA time), my parents had to wake me up because the DEXCOM alarmed (I NEVER HEARD ANYTHING!) saying that I was under 80 mg/dl. When I had woken up, I did do a test using my Breeze2 monitor and it said that I was 98 mg/dl. Since that was not high enough to go back to bed, I had a half bottle of Gatorade and a Greek yogurt. I waited for a while to let the Gatorade and yogurt get in and then I went back to sleep for a few more hours (until 6:30). I really don't like getting up extremely early since it messes things up for me the rest of the day. But, I do what I have to do.
Esta mañana (4:20 hora de EE. UU), mis padres me tuvieron que despertar porque el DEXCOM alarmó (¡NUNCA OÍ NADA!) refrán que estaba bajo 80 mg/dl. Cuando me había despertado, realmente hice una prueba usando mi monitor de Breeze2 y dijo que era 98 mg/dl. Ya que esto no era bastante alto para volver para acostarse, tenía media botella de Gatorade y un yogur griego. Esperé un rato a dejar a Gatorade y yogur entran y luego volví para dormir durante unas horas más (hasta las 6:30). Realmente no me gusta despertar muy temprano ya que estropea cosas para mí el resto del día. Pero, hago lo que tengo que hacer.
When I had gotten to the Senior Center, my blood sugar was dropping (again!), so I tested and had a morning snack before I got everything set up at the front desk and the rest of the Center's areas I'm in charge of for the day. My blood sugar was 160 mg/dl at the time, but if I had not had a snack, it would've dropped even lower. The DEXCOM at the time of the 160 mg/dl was 181 angling down. It's great to have a very understanding boss! She got the call from my Mom since my phone never said I had a message from her. The wifi is very spotty where I work during the day. Not very helpful, but it does work every so often.
Cuándo me había puesto al Centro Mayor, mi azúcar en la sangre se caía (¡otra vez!), por tanto probé y tenía un bocado de mañana antes de que consiguiera todo lo establecido en la recepción y el resto de las áreas del Centro de las cuales soy responsable para el día. Mi azúcar en la sangre era 160 mg/dl entonces, pero si no hubiera comido algo ligero, se habría caído aún más abajo. El DEXCOM en el momento de 160 mg/dl estaba 181 pesca con caña abajo. ¡Es estupendo tener un jefe muy comprensivo! Consiguió la llamada de mi mamá ya que mi teléfono nunca dijo que tenía un mensaje de ella. Wi-Fi es muy con granos donde trabajo durante el día. No muy provechoso, pero realmente trabaja cada tan a menudo.
