Wow! What a great week I had with the DEXCOM-- even with some hiccups here and there. Even when the numbers weren't being reported, the time between the missing and the returning weren't as bad as some glitches had been in the past. It's good to know that the sensors DO WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO DO FOR A GOOD PORTION OF THE TIME. If it was always not working correctly, I can guess the amount of time I would be on the phone during the day each week.

Aun cuando los números no estaban siendo relatados, el tiempo entre la ausencia y la vuelta no eran tan malos como algunos problemas técnicos habían estado en el pasado. Está bien saber que los sensores HACEN LO QUE SON SUPONEN PARA HACER PARA UNA PARTE BUENA DEL TIEMPO. When I had done the changing of the sensors yesterday morning, I had done the calibrations at the Senior Center. That went okay, but the numbers at the time were in the upper 300's. Not sure why, but they did finally come back down later in the day/evening hours. I think the heat had something to do with that, but could be wrong.

When I had gotten home from the Senior Center, I did end up calling DEXCOM so I could order another two boxes of sensors for the next few weeks. They told me that the boxes should be shipped out very soon. I'm hoping the boxes will be here before Friday next week, if we are lucky.

A few times yesterday, the receiver was saying that I was 400+ and started alarming! I couldn't believe that it was doing that since I didn't eat that much in the morning hours. I tested myself around 12 noon and it was in the 300's-- still! Today seems a little better. Again, maybe it's the heat?¡Unas veces ayer, el receptor decía que era 400 + y comencé alarmante! No podía creer que hiciera esto ya que no comí tan mucho en las horas de mañana. ¡Me probé aproximadamente 12 mediodía y estaba en el 300's - todavía! When my Uncle and his coworker came to visit, we all went out recently to eat out and my Uncle's coworker started asking about the DEXCOM (they saw me checking to see what was being reported here and there).
