ENDURANCE

I have type 2 Diabetes but I have managed to get my blood sugar level down to a normal level by doing some research and changing my diet.

My problem is that I have a manual job, getting up at 4am, on my feet all day. By the time I get to the weekend, I'm totally spent and have to spend the weekend recovering only to have to face it all again.

CAN YOU ADVISE ME FOOD/DRINK TO HELP ME WITH MY ENDURANCE SO I CAN SURVIVE THE WEEK. Thank you.

Because oatmeal has a low glycemic index, it can help maintain glucose levels. This can be beneficial for people with diabetes.

I add oats to my breakfast cereals of All Bran and Grapenuts and also with a cereal bar and dried fruis as a late evening supper.

I used to leave the house at 4am from the NE & be working in Oxford st at 9.30 shopfitting. I admit I had the fastes van in the world ! Keeping active is good & well done ! I drink a fare bit of "Diet Tonic Water". Good for circulation & hydration. Very cheap & comes with a hint of lemon, Pesky colds etc . Well done for getting on forum & wish you well !

Have a good breakfast of porridge made with milk/coconut milk and a small amount of stewed apple or berries. This should keep you going in the morning.
