Well, the sensor I had used since Tuesday finally stopped working this morning. After 3 hours of waiting for the numbers to come back on the receiver, I changed for a new sensor and called DEXCOM from the car on my cellphone after 9:30 am on the way to running errands. I'm now getting 2 free sensors instead of just one sent to me in a 5-7 business day delivery. The first free sensor is coming Tuesday next week by the end of the day and the next one should come maybe, October 18th. I'll let you know what happens either way.
Bien, el sensor que había usado desde el martes finalmente dejó de trabajar esta mañana. Después de 3 horas de la espera de los números a volver en el receptor, cambié para un nuevo sensor y llamé DEXCOM del coche por mi teléfono celular después de las 9:30 en el camino a hacer recados. Consigo ahora 2 sensores libres en vez de sólo un enviado a mí en una entrega de la jornada laboral 5-7. El primer sensor libre viene el martes la próxima semana hacia el final del día y el próximo debería venir tal vez, el 18 de octubre. Le avisaré lo que pasa el uno o el otro camino.
I'm hoping that this new sensor does last the full 7 days since I don't want to change the sensor, again sooner than I expect-- especially if I'm really busy at the Senior Center on October 18th. Lots to do that day!
