Well, what a crazy start to the day I had this morning after finishing with my breakfast. When I was about to enter the dose for my insulin into the DEXCOM's insulin section on the receiver, the screen went blank and I couldn't get anything to show up! After I went to get the wall charger for the receiver, I plugged it in and let it charge until I had to leave the house for my very busy day at Senior Center (had to finish charging once I walked in for the day). I was NEVER warned by the DEXCOM to check the battery when I was still at home. This is the first time this has happened. I may give DEXCOM a call either later tonight before I head to bed, or wait until tomorrow when I'm less tired. Either way, they will be notified about the issue. Sad part, I have one of the receivers that has been listed as having some problems, but I haven't had the chance to get a free replacement receiver. Didn't think there was going to be a big problem. I've always had been alerted to when something was going on with the DEXCOM system in general, so this was a very BIG surprise.
Bien, qué principio tan loco hasta el día tenía esta mañana después de terminar con mi desayuno. ¡Cuando estuve a punto de entrar en la dosis para mi insulina en la sección de la insulina del DEXCOM en el receptor, la pantalla fue en blanco y no podía conseguir que nada se revelara! Después de que fui para conseguir el cargador de la pared para el receptor, lo enchufé y déjele culpar hasta que me tuviera que ir la casa para mi día muy ocupado en el Centro Mayor (tuvo que terminar de culpar una vez que anduve en para el día). Speaking odd things happening with the DEXCOM, I did my lunch testing around 12 noon. I usually only do 1 test before eating and another one here and there depending on how I feel. Well, the DEXCOM wanted me to recalibrate even though I had done it once at breakfast and once before starting to have lunch. Well, it so happens that the system wanted me to do a second calibration midway through my lunch time. Both calibrations were very different to say the least. Something isn't right.
Diciendo cosas raras que pasan con el DEXCOM, hice mi almuerzo que prueba aproximadamente 12 mediodía. Por lo general sólo hago 1 prueba antes de comer y el otro aquí y allí según cómo siento. Bien, el DEXCOM quiso que yo calibrara de nuevo aunque lo hubiera hecho una vez en el desayuno y una vez antes de comenzar a almorzar. Bien, así resulta que el sistema quiso que yo hiciera una segunda calibración a mitad del camino durante mi hora de la comida. Ambas calibraciones eran muy diferentes por no decir más. Algo no es correcto.
A few hours after dinner tonight, I did another calibration because I don't want to be up at 12:17 am to do the next calibration. So, I did the calibration at 7:06 and then the system had asked me to do another one around 7:12 pm. Those 2 calibrations were very different, as well. There shouldn't have been any need to do a second one after I did it at 7:06 pm, but the system was buzzing in my pocket at the time with the blood drop symbol showing on the screen. I have to do my next test before bed at 9:30 pm, but I'm not going to calibrate again unless the system says so. That's another thing I plan to bring up when I call DEXCOM.
Unas horas después de la comida esta noche, hice otra calibración porque no quiero levantarme a las 0:17 para hacer la siguiente calibración. De este modo, hice la calibración en 7:06 y luego el sistema había pedido que yo hiciera el otro a eso de las 19:12. Aquellas 2 calibraciones eran muy diferentes, también. No debería haber habido necesidad de hacer una segunda después de que lo hice a las 19:06, pero el sistema telefoneaba en mi bolsillo entonces con la exposición del símbolo de gota de la sangre en la pantalla. Tengo que hacer mi siguiente prueba antes de la cama a las 21:30, pero no voy a calibrar otra vez a menos que el sistema diga así. Esto es otra cosa que planeo subir cuando llamo DEXCOM.
