Week 36: DEXCOM & Today's Meals (Semana 36: DEXCOM & Today's Meals)

Last night, I had changed out the old sensor and put a new one in before going out for dinner. So far, so good. The new sensor is working great. It's even working better than great in fact. During dinner last night, my numbers stayed pretty stable and went lower before 9:30 pm, but never had to have any snacks to bring it back up. The only snack I had before bed last night was a bar that had 30 grams of protein and a yogurt.

Anoche, había cambiado el viejo sensor y había puesto nuevo uno en antes de salir para la comida. Hasta ahora, bien. El nuevo sensor trabaja grande. Trabaja hasta mejor que grande de hecho. Durante la comida anoche, mis números se quedaron bastante estables y fueron más abajo antes de las 21:30, pero nunca tuvieron que tener bocados para devolverlo. El único bocado que tenía antes de la cama anoche era una barra que tenía 30 gramos de la proteína y un yogur.

Since I was out of the house for most of the day today, I went out to eat lunch in Glyndon, MD. (I had an errand that needed to be taken care of.). There's a place called "Glyndon Grille". Their menu is very good and has a great salad that had mangos, manderin oranges, cheese, blueberries, strawberries, citrus dressing and shrimp. Not that carb-filled. I looked at the DEXCOM after finishing the meal and I was still in the mid-100s.

For dinner tonight, I went to IHOP and ate hashbrowns and an omelette that had veggies, chicken, sour cream, cheese and salsa. Again, not that carb-filled and the numbers on the DEXCOM were in the 100s for a little while until I calibrated back here at the house this evening. Now, my number is 214 and the arrow is going sideways. It has been actually going that way for some time, now, so there hasn't been too much change since 7 pm. I'm going to do my last test for the evening around 9:30 and then have my bed time snack. Depending on what my number is at 9:30, I might have another yogurt with the bar, but we'll have to wait and see.

Para la comida esta noche, fui a IHOP y comí hashbrowns y una tortilla de huevos que tenía veggies, pollo, crema agria, queso y salsa. Otra vez, no que carb-lleno y los números en el DEXCOM estaban en el 100s durante poco tiempo hasta que calibrara atrás aquí en la casa esta tarde. Ahora, mi número es 214 y la flecha va de lado. Realmente ha estado yendo así durante algún tiempo, ahora, así no hubo demasiado cambio desde las 19:00.   • You sound wonderful. The Dexcom is really preforming for you now, I love mine. I have been trying to gain weight since my month long hospitalization and my numbers have been wacky. My insulin sensitivity has been hard to control, highs and lows, mostly very deep lows. I snack often and have increased my insulin only by a small amount.

    I'm heading into the kitchen to make a turkey grilled sandwich hot peppers, cheese, lettuce, cucumbers on wheat. I had chili with Dreamflied pasta for lunch and pancakes for breakfast.
