First buy a glucometer , accucheck performa is ok . metformin should be taken up to 2 gm glycomet sr 500 and 1 gm , keep checking your blood sugar , if it is controlled ok or go for glimepride 0.5 with metformin glycomet gp 0.5 if not glycomet gp1 .avoid pioglitazone, walk ,cut out rice .do not listen to quackery , ayurveda etc , after your sugar is controlled take ashwagandha .no bread biscuit ,mix wheat with besan. this general . must be in contact of a physician .

aim for fasting 120 -130 .bedtime 150-160 mg%
