Post your all details regarding what you eat, which medicines you take, what are your lipids, fasting glucose and post lunch glucose.

At these BS levels you are diabetic. Diabetes can not be cured.

Every disease on the planet can be cured. Go to LCHF, lose extra weight if you have, give up all carbs, rice, bread, wheat, sugars. Have more ginger tea, green tea and give your pancreas complete rest for 6 months to 1 year and let your beta cells regenerate. Also practice spiritual techniques like reiki, meditation and eliminate fear and stress from your life. I am sure you will be cured like i did.

Control your blood sugar by diet, exercise and insulin therapy.

Also consult an Endocrinologist.

Please also do some yoga excercise viz. Anulom vilom, kapalbhati and Mandukasana which is easy to perform and good for activating pancreas.

Dhivia: I assume you are Type II.

I have several times brought down my blood glucose level since 2005. I was 52 years old in 2005.

This time (2014) I brought down average blood sugar by 160 from 286 to 126 mainly by reducing carbohydrates, increasing frequency of food/snack intake (2 snacks between dinner and breakfast) etcetera. I have put out my non veg diet plan on this platform thrice! It has my recent HbA1C history too.

If you can not locate it, I will email it to you. efar52@gmail.com

P.S: There are many diet suggestions on dlife.in

@dhiviya : diabets may be considered cured if b.s comes down for a faily large period of 5 years or so., without the aid of conventional meds.(i.e. allopathic). You may prefer to search for alternate methods of tratment along with allopathy and later taper off english meds. LCHF is one strong option., Ramdev is another and so on. Many proponents are there stick to one and be releived.

I am sorry to say that non-veg has got nothing to do with your blood sugar levels. Rather non-veg without carbs is highly recommended

@dhivia, You can be cured. This does not mean can be cured of diabetes, but your blood suagr levels could be brought to normal, like that of a non diabetic, if you can change your food habits. If you wish to change, the best option is adopt LCHF. Low Carb High Fat diet.

Please visit below link for details.

From experience, here is my understanding. Please have a balanced diet. Take a small plate. Half the plate should be filled with raw veggies. Then, fill 1/4 of the plate with Protein like eggs, curd, beans, meat etc and the remainder 1/4 with carbohydrates. Eat the veggies first, then the protein and then the carbohydrates.

Drink lots of water and exercise (maybe join the gym or go for a walk). Have a snack like fruit or coffee or tea or milk in between breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you eat an early dinner and u sleep 2 hours later, make sure u eat a small fruit or some almonds.

This will bring down the sugar levels quickly. Good luck.

Dear sufferer

Since you r young

Please do not follow the comments and expeirences of Forum

Rather take them as guidelines

and Need to consult the doctor of your choice

Do not follow these guidelines, blindly,go to your doctor, get the requisite tests, and prepare your balance diet chart, particularly vegetarian diet, is the best,in the group.

Hi

I agree what aneesh84 said I been diagnosed 2 months before with even higher BS I crossed 600 once but now I m within 150 all the time with medicine and controll on diet

The main thing I stopped is Chapati as it contain highest carbs in our daily meal so try to avoid carb food n exercises regularly and stress is your enemy so dont take tension.

In my personal experience , I find that sugar level can be maintained by food habits and medicines. Diet got a major role in controlling it.

Firstly I want you to have the positive thought that this can be cured that would cure 40% , though all call it a silent killer but this killer can be silenced by food restriction, exercise and medicine. I suggest that you visit a diabetes doctor.

It will be a better idea to avoid talking about things one is unaware of.
