to know how diabetes cure

my fasting 160 and pp 230 i use to walk every day 4 k.m.in morning and swim for 20 minute

not taking sugar in tea or any food product thus also sugar level is not going below

so what type of treatment i have to take now a days i start two tablet in a day morning before lunch and before dinner GLIMP-M1 (GLIMEPRIDE -1MG AND METLFOMIN /HYDRA-500MG)

  • Please consult a diabetologist or an endocrinologist, your tablets seems to be not working and doctor may prescribe insulin shots (don't get panic with insulin shots, it is better than tablets except hassles). you need to tell about your food pattern too

  • You must consult a diabetologist and perhaps you are being guided by him with prescription without result. Please do the GTT ( Glucose tolerance test) in a reputed lab.This will give you a figure on the aggression level of this disease. Also get HbA1c conduct for understanding how you are managing sugar. Mere avoidance of sugar products without shedding down your carbohydrates is of no use. Get a dietician who can suggest your meal plan based on the findings of GTT and HbA1c. Apart from the tablets indicated by you add Galvus 50 (costly)once a day and see the results in one month. If Doctor Vinodh happens to see my comments, he may please help him withhis valuable guidance..

    (2) Stand erect, hold your hands together fingers crossed, above your head.. Turn RIGHT, not changing your legs’ position, bend down, move your body, hands and head to front then to the left and then go up slowly and turn to front let hands down. Repeat this two more times. Again turn LEFT first and do the same three times as described before.( increase the number day by day to 12 times or more)

    (3) Stand erect with feet close, heels touching each other, toes 6 inches apart, hold both hands placing on both the hip bones gently. Rise up a little giving weight on the toes, then slowly sit down but heels roused and sit on the heels for a few seconds. Go up slowly to erect posture then stand on the feet( All these time the heels are raised). Do this 3,6,9,12,or15times daily.

    Your cramps anywhere of abdomen and legs will be gone. Muscles of chest, belly, waist, buttocks, thighs and legs will have good relief and get good figure.

    (Walking only does not give enough exercise to al limbs and organs and internal organs. Walking about 3 kilometers may required 1hour time. But the above exercise requires only about 30 minutes. Above all you can do this exercise even in a room.)

  • The juice is fine.It may make a difference or not.It another food item like sambar.. At the same time do not forget to take u r daily medicines ,diet control,and exercise.prescribed by the doctor.You can find plenty of therapies on the net including juice theraphies. So what ? Your doctor is final.

  • I do not think you need insulin shots, you are in the minimum dosage of tablets. You should consult a doctor but here is the progression of dosage he may take.

    Increase the Amaryl (Glimperide) to 4 mg , If that does not change add a second dosage in the evening for either Glimperide or Metformin 500 mg or both. These are very safe drugs and you should be able to control your blood sugar with some combination of these 2 drugs before going for the prick.

  • Your excercise level is all right as long as you can stick to the routine may be add Yoga to your routine.

    Mango leaves is a good suggestion but remember only young fresh leaves and you have to soak overnight. but it is for limited time as long as fresh leaves are available.

    In your diet limit your intake of white products ie milk, milk products, curd, fine wheat flour, rice, maida products, breads, pasta etc. thy are all rich in carbohydrates. Sugar and carbohydrate rich are same. Add fibre to your diet and best is by taking sprouts in the morning and seasons vegetable salad 20 minutes before meals.

    Take meals at fixed time and between two big meals take small meals such as tea & buscuits/nuts fresh fruits etc as per your liking. Do not keep your stomach empty.

    No smoking and Alcohol you can take fish but avoid red meat.

    After dinner take 1-2 km leisure walk and see your blood glucose levels change

  • You may be taking foods that get converted to sugar. You have to bring down consumption of Rice, milk, ghee, oilly foods. If diet control does not help bring down sugar, see a good doctor. You may need some insulin.
