Please give me tips to control my diabetes.

I am 59 years of age and have recently been (1 month back) diagnosed for diabetes. Please give tips about the diet that I should take. I am a vegetarian. I do a lot of walking - one hr in the morning & 1 hr in the evening. What fruits can I take. Can I have plantain as I find it difficult to pass motion, what should I do to make it come out freely. I drink a lot of water everyday- about 2 to 3 litres. What else should I do to control my sugar level. My FBS is 236 mgs and 2PPBS is 293 mgs. I have been given the following medicines:

T. Glimy - 1 tablet morning & night (before food)

T Diabose 25 - 1 tablet in the morning ( " )

T Lipicure - 1 tablet in the night ( " )

Cap Axodant -1 cap. in the morning ( " )

You should also take ayurvedic medicine Amree plus Tabs of Amiel Pharma, its results are very good it cantaints almost all main ayurvedic medicines, also good for heart and BP. Quality of its very out standing. I am taking since long and having any trouble like you.

My routine is almost like you and My FBS is 130 mgs and 2PPBS is 180 mgs.

Are taking ayurvedic medicine alone or along with allopatic medicines .are u diabetic your self. Some bad people are mixing allopatic medicines in ayurvedic medicines and cheating people. Ayurvedic medicines for diabetic control is unreliable
