Hi I have personally felt weekly reduction in sugar after using Ayurvedic Medicines which I had taken from a home based practicing Ayurveda Acharya, these medicines work 2 ways, they first reduce the blood glucose level, systematically then make your body prepare insulin so that the need for the medicines becomes minimal/

Dear Sairam
Take cinamon powder and Jamun powder, which you can get from any dawasaaz, in your area as supplements of 1 spoon each 2 times a day. before mels 15 - 20 minutes, then gett yourself tested after 1 month, these are supplements to be taken along with medicine.
Alongwith Insulin, one has to control diet too. Consult ur doctor, who shall advice u as to how much Insulin u need in the morning n at Night. U need to consult a good doctor.I m using HUMINSULIN 30/70 for past several years n m satisfied by my treatment. I take 28 Units in the morning n 10 units at night .I m 68 and a diabetic since 1983. So don't get disheartened.
pls give us proper adress
Would be helpful to me to know your fasting and post-prandial blood glucose readings before and after you started the treatment.

Dear Anup Ji.
At first, I thank you for the marvellous guidance you are contibuting to this blog. Thereafter, I venture to submit that Ashwagandha, Karela and Meshshringhi, which also fall in the category of anti-Diabetes medicines, may, in some way, be studied as anti-Diabetes medicines falling in the broad category of Metformin etc. The problem arises when we find that the doctors of easch system (Allopathic, Ayurvedic etc.), are not only against the other system, but are also intolerant of the same. This is very unfortunate since all the the systems have been developed for the medical service (at large) of mankind, and not for the satisfying the professional ego of each category. Even if two real brothers, who have basic love , attachment and other mutual interests complementing to one another, follow separate profesessional careers (one as an allopathic doctor and the other as an ayurvedic doctor), they will become, to some extent at least, antagonistic to each other because of the hypnotic feeding (medical) given to one brother against the system followed by the other brother. The allopathic doctors hate the other systems to such an extent that they do not like themselves to be considered as allopathic doctors. Rather they prefer themselves to be considered as "Main line Modern Science doctors" because the think that the category "Allopathic Doctors" is a misnomer forged by followers of some other system. Anyway, my suggestion is that it will be a great service to the cause of eradication of diabets (in the long run), if some comparative converters can be found to lay down that so much quantity of Karela, Meshshringi etc is equivalent to so much quantity of Metformin etc. so that the sufferers may feel less confused about the names of the systems and quantities and "may live more happily thereafter".
