HbA1C by age target?

In a video clip from a South Indian Doctor below HbA1c target was explained.

Age Below 6 8.5 %

Age 6-12 8.0 %

Age 12-19 7.5 %

Age 20-45 Below 6.5 %

Age 46-70 Below 7.0 %

Age 70 + Below 7.5 to 8.0 %

I have been looking for this HbA1C information and age target for type 2.

I like to find out from other members their views?

Experts say there's no approved difference of HBA1C for adults. It should be below 5.6 for non-diabetic and many 70+ have it.

Who are the experts?

I live in UK and have checked the HbA1c number and age with leading Professors. Because of UK, NHS protocol there are no data.!!

The video coming for India and USA give more information.

AS I see it in UK, I come under South Asian and medication is the first option and I have avoided medication for the last 10 years. Go for diabetic check every 6 months.

There is some thing wrong with the declaration of the south Indian doctor. The authenticity of it has to be checked. Please do not follow that for medication before checking.
