Varying HbA1c values

Hi All,

I've undergone a medical test recently as my insurance provider wanted me to do so.

I was presented with my test reports along with the insurance policy which mentioned that my FBS is 86 mg/dL and HbA1C as 5.2%.

Surprisingly, the values were 97 mg/dL and 5.9% respectively just 14 days ago.

There is a variance of 12% in my HbA1c values.

I would like medical professionals here to comment on the reason of this variance.

Thanks

Follow Mediterranean diet which is considered as the best diet in the world. Your HbA1c lab report is excellent. Research has also shown that people with type 2 diabetes who reduce their HbA1c level by 1% are: 19% less likely to suffer cataracts. 16% less likely to suffer heart failure. 43% less likely to suffer amputation or death due to peripheral vascular disease.
