HbA1C numbers as we age?

I have been looking for information on HbA1C as we age, I managed to find this information.

There are many video clips coming out of Tamil Nadu in India in Tamil language.

From 7 to 7.5 %, 53 to 58 mmol/mol Senior citizen should maintain.

Over 80 years of age 8%, 64 mmol/mol.

In UK, NHS has blood test numbers and discuss South Asians.

If Tamil Nadu doctors are using the above guide lines to treat type 2 in India then is it possible for the doctors in other parts of the worlds to look at these numbers?

Also I found out that C-peptide levels test is done to check for type 1 or type 2?

" C-peptide levels are associated with diabetes type and duration of disease"

"C-peptide is a good indicator of how much insulin the body is making. It can be used to differentiate between type 1 and type 2 diabetes. While moderate levels lower inflammation, even slightly higher levels have been linked to insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, heart disease, and cancer. Read on to learn more about C-peptide and how it can impact your health."

Thats correct above 70 years of age HBa1c range gets relaxed and also sugar targets are relaxed and maintained according to individual.

Yes 75 years above physician say to maintain a1c =7.5, 80 years its 8.0 so you put a dot between the age number, and targets should be individualised
