I found this information for India:

"Fasting plasma glucose (FPG) test

A lot of people are confused about how to get their fasting blood sugar test done. One needs to fast overnight (at least 8 – 12 hours) to get their fasting blood sugar tested the next morning. While 100 mg/dL is normal, between 100 – 125 mg/dL is considered prediabetic and if it’s higher than 126 mg/dL in two separate tests, you have diabetes."

Your test number indicates that it is getting closer to the high level!

Controlling your life style, life style change, watching out for hidden and free sugar in food and drinks, regular exercise, there is control on out door exercise at the moment. You can bring down the number.

Look at the carb in take in your food and drinks!!!

No. Don't worry. Take care of your diet and exercise.

Bit of carb. control will help.

This is the right time to concentrate on your low carb diet, vegetables, exercise and low sugar intake. You should be ok if you are serious. Good luck.

There is nothing to worry about since you will eventually have diabetes, so kindly follow low carb diet as others have advised you and keep monitoring your sugar levels.

Congrats. .You are fit and probably the best controlled diabetic. You have titrated your diet successfully. Any reduction of sugar below this is not advisable for the risk you run of hypoglycemia, although much less with no medications.

Greetings ,

Sandeep don't take any medicine need OK

You are fit ..don't worry

Take care of your diet and exercise.

My view on Herbal medicines or any alternate medicines :

(1) There are no clinical data nor large scale trial on people for its effectiveness and long term side effects.

(2) some herbs may have beneficial effect due to presence of some kind of phytochemicals , but the same phytochemicals may not be present in right quality and quantity all the time when the herb is grown under different geographical locations with different soil conditions under different climatic conditions.

(3)Having said that a few indian kitchen spices are known to reduce blood sugar....cinnamon, Fenugreek... You may like to Try these out in limited quantity.......again large amounts may result in side effects . .

(4) It is advisable to keep diabetic conditions under control with diet and exercise.

And if required consult a diabetologist or Endochrinologist. It is better to depend upon allopathy medicines which are proven, consistent in its effectiveness...

The allopathy medicines come to the market only after decades of clinical trial....first on animals .... then limited human trial .... Stage 1 trial.... Stage 2..... Stage 3... at larger scale ...

The effectiveness is documented.... Side effects are recorded... and then different drug control regulatory authorities have to approve before it is released for human consumption.....

Even after that if any side effects are noticed, a particular drug may be banned.....
