Don’t panic. Random blood sugar is little high, but it depends on what you ate before tests. Consult good endocrinologist and get HbA1C and other tests done. This can be brought back to normal range with controlled diet and exercise in few months. All the best.

The latest recommendation of the American College of Physicians is:

Fasting sugar+Sugar at bed time/2=250mg/dl. is ok!

The values seem to be a bit high. As requested by sandybrown , is it possible for you to share the link of the research paper?

Results from studies included in all the guidelines demonstrate that health outcomes are not improved by treating to A1C levels below 6.5 percent,” Dr. Ende said. “However, reducing drug interventions for patients with A1C levels persistently below 6.5 percent will reduce unnecessary medication harms, burdens, and costs without negatively impacting the risk of death, heart attacks, strokes, kidney failure, amputations, visual impairment, or painful neuropathy.”

Yes it can be brought back to normal. As suggested go for HbA1c test to get your average 3 months sugar level & gtt to confirm or otherwise whether you are diabetic

Gopij ,

Nothing can be concluded from random blood sugar(RBS) test. Please get your HBA1c, Fasting Blood sugar(FBS), Post Prandial Blood Sugar(PPBS) and Fasting serum insulin tests done and consult an endocrinologist if required.

We can easily bring back everything to normal. Dont worry.

Ofcourse you can, nothing is impossible.

Read about Intermittent fasting and Keto.

Start working out 3-5 days in a week, HIIT , weight training, running.

Eat good fats, Avocado, Extra virgin olive oil, EV Coconut oil.

Sleep on time and atleast 6-8 hours. Insufficient sleep = high cortisol = high blood sugar.

No Sugar/ No juices/ No Fast Food.

Donot worry. Check two or three days daily. Hope the readings will vary and ome down. It is mainly food you had on that day. This is my experience
