Switch over to sugarless beverage .Avoid refined products like suger, maida, white rice,.Avoid fat rich items and fast food.Eat not to fill your stomach but just to kill your hunger.Start the day with green tea with a table spoon of honey--yes one table spoon only.Go for some long walk and eat not 3 times but minimum 5 times. You can use Kerala brown or red rice.,steel cut oats, whole wheat in your diet. But first of all go and see a good diabetologist .Good luck.
