Diabetes can be controlled/managed by a proper regulated diet and exercise. and medicines prescribed by the doctor

1. Eat every Four hours mini meals. Don't eat big meals. Take more green vegetables/salads.

2. Eat whole grain food/grains like ragi, wheat, jowar instead of refined grains like maida/ sooji/ white bread etc

3. Reduce foods with high GI Index like potato, white rice, banana, mango.

4. Avoid all forms of simple sugars like Colas, juices, sweets, cakes, biscuits, pizzas, noodles etc.

5. Eat daily fruits with low/medium GI index like apple, guava, mosambi, orange.

6. Eat lot of proteins like dals, sprouts, egg, chicken etc with every minimeal.

7. Drink lot of water. One glass every hour.

8. Do at least 30-45 mins of exercise everyday.

I beg to differ sir.

1) frequent eating is not a good idea.

2) avoid grains afap

3) no to high gi food like root vegetables, refined flour, etc

4) eat lots of good fats

5) lots of protein is as bad as lots of carbs as far as insulin secretion is concerned. Also it may put stress on already compromised kidneys

🙏🙏

A person no matter if they are diabetic or not, they need some carbs for proper functioning for the brain and the rest of the body.

Our body can utilize ketone as or even more efficiently than carbs.

Carbs are required for instant energy and insulin for thyroid to function normally.

Brain works better with ketones than with glucose

How does that work for someone who doesn't spill ketones no matter how high the blood sugar goes?

Please elaborate your question. I can't understand what you are asking.

If a person is not able to have ketones from high blood sugar, how can they help instead of hurting the brain?

Yr ideal wt. Shouldbe 56 kg. First u check it. U control yr food up to 1300kcal per day with 6 serving. Avoid direct or indirect sugar. Indirect sugar means CARB. To minimise CARB u should eat 180 Carb per day. 40 in the morning, 50 in lunch,40 in dinner,15 in morning snack,15 in evening snack, 20 in misc. food. Like morning tea, noon tea.

These CARB should be counted by tracking yr food u eat. If u have smartphone than download app for tracking. If u don't hv than u meet any dietician or otherwise purchase Indian diet food book with nutrition fact.

Walk 30-45 miutes every day.
