"Those with diabetes may also develop low blood sugar as a byproduct of patients receiving medication that lowers blood sugar levels too low.

'Hypoglycemia, or low blood glucose, is one of the most common serious adverse effects of diabetes therapy, causing both immediate and long-term harm to patients who experience it,' said lead author Dr Rozalina McCoy, an endocrinologist at the Mayo Clinic.

'Severe hypoglycemia, defined by the need for another person to help the patient treat and terminate their hypoglycemic event, is associated with increased risk of death, cardiovascular disease, cognitive impairment, falls and fractures, and poor quality of life.' "

Take car with your experiment and medication!!!

Over medication?

Please consult your GP or a doctor to review your medication. It is imperative that you regularly check your blood glucose and carry a small bottle of sugary drink in case you need it if your blood glucose level is down..

I'm insulin sensitive and drop like a rocket one minute I look at my DEXCOM and I'm 135 BS level and next the alarm is going off and I'm 80 and dropping fast and can be in the 50's in 10 minutes. Afternoon following lunch mst have a snack before dinner, then dinner is followed by a keto friendly cereal. Aim is to keep carb's low also have seizure's a keto diet is effective for both. Although my insulin sensivity makes it very difficult to battle. It is dangerous becareful watch your sugars.

your diet is unplanned by a physician. you need to know the rough total calorie level of your food before deciding the dose of insulin and if you keep off using slow release drugs with erratic action and avoid junk food in between like snacks you can be practically be free of hypo glycemic episodes. consult your allopathic family physician
