Earlier year, I was in the range of diabetes. But after watching my sugar intake. I'm always good, fasting usually is 80 to 90 by using accucheck at home. 2 hours after food sometimes is below 140 or sometimes 150. But after 3 hours it goes down below 140.
I'm 36 years old. Can I be diabetic? Earlier lab report may be wrong I thought?
I am in the same situation. I have 35. Diagnosed 7 november 2016 fbs 3g and a1c 11.3. Lost 27% of my weight in the 3 month. Have totaly changéd my body by bodybuilding. New a1c 5.2..fbs between 0.68 to 0.94. Ppbs never more 1.35. 3 doctors have told me I am cured. But I dont now. My be i should do ogtt. But it is not problème for me. I enjoy live. I am on low carb. Eat 3 times per day. No snack. Exercices.
Same situation here. I just left my heavy sugar intake. I was too diagnosed on Nov 2016 after normal routine checking. I lose no weight. Eat everything.
My sugar level was elevated I think because of heavy drinking and stress. Now, Mental condition is stabilised and normal sugar.
Two questions :
1) Sugar can be elevated for a particular stressful day or not?
2) Laboratory result was not correct?
Any answer please?
T1 & T2 are very different. I have two friends now off there T2 meds through will power. Good luck & keep going.
Temporary blood sugar spike can happen or not please, say, for one day or any particular day?
