In my opinion it's a little high but not so high.

It can be controlled with exercise. I hope so. Good luck.

Desirable to keep it under 160,which is the recommended number for random glucose test.

Normal glucose level is in between 70 mg/dL and 180 mg/dL. Try to maintain that level at any time.

Fbs should be preferably @ 80 but not more than 100.

I usually measure my pp at 1 hour. It should be below 140. Preferably @ 120. It shows how much does your sugar spike after meal. May be in early stages of D and after you have reversed D 2 hr ppbs is wnl. One hour pp shows how much carbs do we took in that meal.

For diabetic patients, FBS should not exceed 100 mg/dL and PPBS <140 mg/dL. If diabetic patients have heart disease, FBS should not exceed 80 mg/dL and PPBS < 120 mg/dL.

Why this division sir ?

We don't want heart disease to develop.

Over time, people who have diabetes and high blood sugar can develop serious or life-threatening complications, including heart disease, stroke, kidney problems, nerve damage, and eye problems. Taking medication(s), making lifestyle changes (e.g., diet, exercise, quitting smoking), and regularly checking your blood sugar may help to manage your diabetes and improve your health. This therapy may also decrease your chances of having a heart attack, stroke, or other diabetes-related complications such as kidney failure, nerve damage (numb, cold legs or feet; decreased sexual ability in men and women), eye problems, including changes or loss of vision, or gum disease. Your doctor and other healthcare providers will talk to you about the best way to manage your diabetes.

Why should there be complications you mentioned if like Hidden everybody keeps sugar under strict control?

Please Consult a Dialectologist. Have you taken a GTT. This will help to decide yr Diabetic status. You have said that morning FBS and PBS after breakfast is Ok. Of so, it is easy for you to bring Post Lunch and Post Sugar within control. Try to reduce Rice/Carbs and add more Veggies. Have something to eat at 11 AM and at 4.00 PM and reduce yr Lunch and Dinner intake.

Finally, also check yr Meter!
