Dinner: green leaves vegetables, ricotta cheese, cold soup of: cucumber, yoghurt, garlic, parsley and green pepper.
Night snack around midnight: half an avocado.

Hi, my LC diet is very simple 'cause numbers and weights confuse me!
Whatever sounds "carb" I don't touch, everything else is good for me, meat, eggs, veggies, ricotta cheese and mozzarella, fish, no fruits at all except avocados and few strawberries.
No rice no pasta or noodles no bread chapati or tortillas no potatoes.
Keep in touch, we need each other support and experience sharing specially because "medical" people they do business on us instead of helping.
Hi Giogio, this seems very healthy but not filling enough ? I prepare my husband's LCHF diabetic meals and he would still be hungry after your meal, he is only 7st 9lb.
I would need to add a hard boiled egg or two and pile of hot mashed cauliflower with a small amount of potato in the mash with ghee. He is asleep at midnight !
Hi Zube, I forgot the taste of potatoes, I eat no more. Cauliflower are ok as eggs white, I eat a lot. LC diet is not easy for filling one's stomach but I have the impression that it's worth. I lost 15 kg, then to make people happy I started Carbs again and my BG shot up again. Now I decided to take care of my life, back on LC and don't listen to peoples comments about my body's look.
This morning before breakfast my BG was 100.
I forgot to mention, I exercise 5 / 6 days/week.

Giogio, thanks for reply, you have good motivation but can I ask why you and many others do not eat egg yolk ? it contains much goodness.
Cholesterol! I eat an average of 4 eggs daily, I keep 1 yolk and the rest is white. Add every fat I have during the day because LC diet leaves not too many choices if one doesn' t get energy from fat and then you imagine what happens to one's lipids.
I like whole eggs but I had and have good results with LC diet including fats but I am afraid of HF diets.
Ahh, cholestererol I see Giogio but what about the egg white protein putting too greater load on the kidneys ? you may get away with it for while but maybe not indefinitely ?
Seems we are all on an interesting learning curve, for example - my husband had very high cholesterol, 9.4 in uk measurement. Now, after LCHF (high fat) that anup explained to me, my husband's cholesterol has come down to 5.1 !? his diabetic condition is also steadily improving... so far !
