For type 2 diabetics, what happens if they fast for more than 24 hrs. without taking medications?

when food is taken a test shows hyped results in a diabetic . With out any diet there may not be a hyke . It does not mean that person is cured . But actually the entire idea of testing after food intake is not foolproof . Once a person is diabetic , he or she should be treated to take that out of the system , which is a near impossibility as of now .This pertains to the type 2 D which is a disorder . In case of type 1 D , the approach is different . According to me , placentrix injections from a healthy person could show some hope instead of insulin injections .

Placentrex is not a sure shot remedy. Used for many indications but certainly not for t2d. Where did you get this information ? Let's all know.

As far as Raviraju 's question is concerned he may omit pancreas whipping drugs but not metformin imho but only his caretaker can decide that looking to his profile and reports.

placentrix injection is an idea expressed by a medical student . That is not tested and verified as far as my knowledge goes .

That's the fantasy of american based education system. Hyperbole about the drugs and it sells like hot cakes. I have used this injections in past to get rid of pevic adhesions. Zero result.

placentrix may not be a sure shot cure . But if it is not harmful , don't you think it can be experimented since it is made with placenta a natural ingredient .

You can. But would please let me know in which case you want to try ?

in reply to suramo

If an assurance is given by somebody of its safety, I want to request an association of AID'S to try that on a willing inmate provided it is not against the ethics or Law . Once it was recommended in a severe psoriasis case and there was a good improvement , though I don't know the long term effects because we lost touch with her .Here my point is can Placentrix be used with success in any autoimmune disease , whether it is diabetes or psoriasis or certain types of cancer or some other disease since it is not synthetically made . If I am not wrong it should act almost like stem cell therapy .

No one can give assurance. Psoriasis is known for remission and exacerbation. All t2d are not autoimmune. You never know what kind of result reaction a drug would give. People react differently

you are correct .Thank you for the input .

Fasting is very effective to manage diabetes. Since last six year l take only one meal in a day . I take some fruits instead of dinner. I have maintained my weight as before even after I left dinner . Result of this I take only one tab gluconorm g 1 since last 10 year l have even not consulted my doc from last eight year.

I fast regularly, sometimes upto 36hrs. My blood sugar levels usually come to normal fasting levels(below 100) after 15hrs of fast. Otherwise on normal days, my fasting sugar levels hover around 140. I have observed that the glucose levels remain around 90-100 through out my fasting period. I have never experienced low glucose levels. And I can carry on with normal activities without any problem during fasting.
