Diabetes can be and should be reversed by the lifestyle correction.

All the metabolic issues we get are due to the wrong lifestyle. Excessive consumption of omega6, lack of exercise, high consumption of simple carbs etc. are the key factors. Body develops some issues like diabetes, hypertension, obesity, cancer. But today we doctor's are busy in developing & prescribing medicines to the world. They are not curing anybody, in fact damage continues as the basic mistake is not being repaired. In fact it is good news for everybody, we can control & treat almost all the metabolic issues by correcting our wrong lifestyle, everything else is a white-wash.

I ask the person to go into the fat burning mode by adopting to 8-16 mode of eating. Food to be taken in 2-3 portion within 8-9 hours. Diet should be high in good quality fats (proper Omega3 intake), good quality proteins, complex carbs (plenty of salads), few fruits. Hypo-caloric diet with intermittent fasts puts body into the better metabolic control. This along with exercise start solving the problem of insulin resistance, mitochondrial dysfunction & weight gain. There is not single thing in the world which does this to our body. So taking medicines have proven again & again to be big failures. They show apparent success by converting glucose to fats (sulfonyl urea) or converting glucose into far dangerous lactic acid (bi-guanides like metformin). Please change your lifestyle, everything else will be vicious dooming down.

Excellent and HONEST thought by you sir. The doctor will never ask what r yr daily food program? B'coz all disease r occurred due to bad lifestyle or food habit. They will hear what u say about yr problem and ask u to take path lab report. And prescribed medicine. But never ask u to change yr lifestyle or food habit style. For example diabetic patient will never advised to eat low carb. Heart patient never advised to eat healthy mufa or pufa. And from which food? patient can eat healthy fat. In my case when I diagnosed as diabetic HbA1c 12.8% and I was prescribed 2MG Metformin twice a day for one month. Not even told me to reexaminations after a week. Only advised me not to eat sugar, sweet etc. Unluckily my sugar controls within one week and feels like hypoglycemia. I immediately consult doc and he amazed, and check BS and reduced my doze. Same moment I decided to more study on diabetes and found LCHF AND FASTING diet, resulted today no medicine since last four month with HbA1c 5.68%. But most important thing is I have changed my LIFESTYLE & FOOD HABITSTYLE.

Thanx doc for yr honesty and frank opinion.

Hi,

Is it because of Metformin doses that controlled your hba1c from 12.8 % to 5.68%.

My hba1c comes 11.6% recently from near about 1 month & was not having BS before.

Hypo-caloric diet with intermittent fasts puts body into the better metabolic control.

lifestyle is a lifestyle, it is not a temporary thing. As daily my body replenishes few million cells, I want good quality raw material for it till the last day of life. A day or two cheat days are ok. Calorie in/out etc. is obviously important, but structure of my cell wall, quality of my cell machinery is also important. This can be provided to me only by the good nutrition and good life-style. MCTs and unsaturated fats play key role in transition from sugar burning to fat burning mode. I have tried it on thousands of people with wonderful persistent results. thanks

That is really great DrPravin

but hypo caloric diet may not be sustainable for long time... you can follow same only for short period.

Anupji, if SFA is so good go on eating sugar, as it is stored by my body as palmitic & stearic acids. Just read something about unsaturation index of cell membrane & importance of cell membrane elasticity for the cell function. PUFA are not bad what is bad is PUFA with scarcity of anti-oxidants. PUFA gets damaged very easily, so when I am eating PUFA I need to eat how amounts of fruits & veggies, sprouts.
