Diabetic & Old Age

I started on diabetic medicine when I was 65 years old. Now I am 79. I take regularly 1mg+2mg Glimipride,eve 500+2mg glimipride. My fasting sugar remains 120./pp 240.

Reduce carb foods, eat less grains like rice, wheta, instead increase vegetables[non starchy], Meat, egg, + some good fats like ghee and chees

cheese and paneer are rich in proteins. They contain very little fat.

Its not at alarming stage.I have big size body , getting old but hard give up addiction s.

Get your reports done. Esp a1c. Pay attention to your diet. Nig size body not good. Which addictions are you talking about ? Your numbers are really worrisome if you want to live longer and a healthy uncompromised life.
