No sir ....I don't have that habit

Ok than my suggestion is to have your food distributed in small portions and have it on 3-4 hours intervals. Instead of having heavy meal 2 times In a day it is better to have small meals 4-5 times a day. Hope this will help you. In my case it helped a lot my HBA1C came to 5.9 from 8.9 and I am not taking any single medicine to lower my blood sugar since diagnosed.

Let me know about you. Gender, height, weight and all other details.

Why do you have to take insulin ? Is that a gradual switch from medicines or straightway put onto insulin because your endo thought that your readings were very high ?

Congratulations for your achievements but we are all eager to know your story from beginning till today. Please don't forget to mention about your food that you are taking and the lab reports.

That's what i thought. Insulin will aggravate your D. Please lose some weight. Try IDM. Although i don't agree with wheat porridge you can try for some time but first try IDM, stop insulin, measure your bs at home and then try. If you are taking insulin you will not be able to come to any conclusion. I don't know what Hidden means by routine lunch but try to take low carb diet. Learn carb and calorie counting and gi and gl of the food you are eating.

Thanks suramo i have diagnosed in Jun 2012 when my blood sugar reached @470 mgdl but doctors said it may be due to body infection so have to check PPBS in intervals. Then after 4 week my PPBS reached to 200. Meantime I was walking 15 km each day. My weight was 72 kg and height 162 cm @ the time diagnosed. Now I am 63 kg and my PPBS comes to 150-160 mgdl. I am taking my food same as predaignosed. But the difference is previously I was eating heavy meal 2 times and now I am taking 5 light meals 5 times. I have never had any medicine to reduce blood sugar. Just reduced my weight as per BMW table and exercise 1 hour morning and 1 hour post dinner. This brings my HBA1C from 8.9 to 5.9 in just 6 months. And it is still coming down only due to exercise and meal partition.

Hope this helps

Just forget to mention my fasting sugar is 87 and PPBS after 1 hour is 173 mgdl and after 2 hour 128 mgdl. I have stop using oral tobacco 3 months back and the results are mind-blowing.3 days previous my doctor checked my lab reports and OGTT and said to me that I am no more diabetic but pre- diabetic. And my daibetis is getting reversed day by day just by exercise 2-2.5 hours day, weight as per BMW and portions of meal.

😃😃😄😄 "don't tell your doctor that you are taking the porridge, he will dissuade you, if he is an allopathy doctor"

I like that riding a bandwagon with many who bash allopathy doctors. Carry on. 👍👍👍👍

Please tell us your story. We are all interested in getting rid of our D. Your story will help us a lot.
