I have had tests done and wondered what happens next.

Along with the blood test you've done, what other tests had you gotten ordered by your doctor to do? Was the test for the A1c done at the appointment the same day, or was it a week before? What had your doctor said about the next steps?

I did not have any other tests done and I did not fast. This was my first and the doctor said I need medication.

My report of is above normal 10.5

I am starting lifestyle changes. Can changes start occuring within days. Are readings always basedon the first random test?

HbA1c 71? Random glucose 10.5? There is some mistake surely. Again u shud check HbA1c & FBS & PPBS.

It was u1 hba1c but still no medication given

Hba1c was 71.

I think it may be hba1c 7.1 and random blood glucose 105
