I am following LCHF....and whatever carbs..I am consuming only long wheat.
I was diagnosed for fatty liver (NASH)....Just last week got liver scanned...results-fatty liver problem is almost resolved...some fats seen on pancreas.
Dont be in a hurry ...M/f is not that bad ....wait for A/C to come down till 5.0 ...till then may be CoQ10 and all give some better results ...one by one everything will on track ...why not focussing on Yoga/ meditate/acupressure at this point more if possible (I know you have traveling job ...so its tough )...it does not have any side effect if taken in big dosages too and only a small portion of H1AC improvement is left to achieve
BTW the starting lines look like a movie is going to start
Its a great news that your LCHF + Ayurveda is giving great results for you, happy for you!! please do share your dialy chart in detail, it will be helpful to all of us. Do clearly mention your ayurveda treatment also.
in TG??? hmmm...now will check after 4 months.... as from the pattern I observed in HBa1c reduction....I guess retirement of my cells takes more time....I mean more than 120 days...
Hi, @cure. I am very interested in in the improvement of your NAFLD. I have that too, and since March I have been on LCHF diet, with good results all round. But I don't know if I will be able to get a test for NAFLD to see if it too has improved. I'm quite concerned about it, and I suppose I should tell my gp of my worry. I do know that the gamma gt level has been high for a couple of years, with the last reading (May 2016) being the highest. (254) I've been trying to convince myself that it is caused by my meds, but I'm still very uneasy. As I said, all other results are well within normal limits, with HbA1c now down to 6.4 from 7.6. I am due for another blood test soon. We shall see how things have progressed then. Has anyone got any words of encouragement?
But half the credit goes to Ayurveda and not total credit can be given to LCHF as per CURE .
But half the credit goes to Lchf . So how can he stop.

Here the issue is relief from the problem . There need not be any ego.

He didn't say that but the meaning is implied. oome on , come out of the illusion and feeling of glory.
Science never gives illogical arguments . They are taking all the information from all the sources . The very fact that so many researches are taking place everyday about all herbs and plants and their efficacy in dealing with health problems proves that.

You are not falling for science .You are gloating with self satisfaction .
I have nothing against ayurveda, but have you ever come across a diabetic who brought down his HBA1c by ~3.5 with these ayurvedic herbs alone? Genuine question.
cure gave jaikaram to Lchf , to Shooter george, and many times referred to the Ayurvedic herbs and their efficacy also .Thus it is a cumulative effort .But Lchf , has been profusely praised by him .After going through all his posts , I gave my opinion . But what is wrong in that .Lchf should also be broadminded enough to give the due credit to other diets and methods .
cure brought down his a1c by ~7. According to your interpretation 50% credit goes to the herbs. 50% of 7 is 3.5. Hence I asked you if you know of anyone who brought down his/her a1c with these herbs alone.
My question was specifically about these ayurvedic herbs. Please share some instances where people have drastically reduced their HBA1C with herbs alone. I don't really care about the "laughed at" part.
Tinaspora completely cured a friend of mine . In another case Aloevera ,ginseng Azaridicta indica cured. The effects are not uniform in all the cases . It shows that it varies from person to person .Azaridicta indica alone cured in one case.
Sir .pls for the newmembers in the forum ur feat seems tremendous&pls can u spare some time &enumerate ur LCHF dietplan. .the herbs &the long wheat in what from are u taking.is it in flour form or kanji
As everyone here wants to win the war.
So pls do eleborate. We will be obliged .pls take out some time.
I guess .....I am not medical professional.... But with little understanding.. At very beginning stage ....means before starting....diabetes medicines...if we strive hard...we can bring down our IR by using herbs and LCHF.
Deathof beta cells may occur after some time if u continue on medicines like diamicron.
So checking fasting insuline... And fatty liver should be done .
I am really surprised... Why doctors are not doing so regularly to rule out this cause?
Hmmmm totally lost faith on medical community.
Anyway...jingle...Goa is really nice...and celebrating ashadh party....full fish...
i don't eat wheat. I'm almost on grain free diet. Let me try that. Let's see what comes out.
But with my diet regime now a days i don't feel hunger pangs because i'm on very low carb diet. So it seems that my insulin doesn't spike. It must be keeping low.
I have also stopped statins. At suitable time i will get everything tested.
I have been taking good amount of garlic even when i was not diabetic. Curcuma also i take in good amount but in seasons only. I have to learn to preserve it for round the year use.
I really don't know How it works....just guessing....
hmmm one possibility.....as you think..diabetes is due to weak genes....or malfunction in same.... long wheat got some antioxidants which corrects those expressions of genes??
Look at genetic make up of long wheat and common wheat....there is vast difference....
Other possibility....Ayurveda says...any metabolic syndrome is due to imbalance between Kafa vata and pitta.
There is no mention of long wheat....but Ayurveda says about 'Shashtika rice' the rice harvested in 60 days helps you to calm down aggravated Vata.....and most of diabetics are Vata prakruti....who are prone to get Vata doasha disturbance.
May be for them this rice will be helpful.
I really don't know what is truth.....but bajara thing u can try some day....
bajra is my staple food. I have checked. At least my fbs is the same as otherwise - around 150. Now my conscious tells me not to take grains. Well mine is a different case. Most of bcf lost.
we have to find out about long wheat and all kinds of helpful rices instead of shooting in dark.
But i don't think it can affect expression of genes.
Cure on wheat and rice mine and anup's opinion are same. They are carbs and better avoided but since you guys have controlled your D using them at least i will stay back on my opinion.
you may continue with what you are presently doing....
Just add other things like kalounjee and cinnamon fenugreek....I am sure in month or two u will get good results....I think you are taking cinnamon (in spite of ur notion that your BCF is lost)
Try toh kar bhai....
grainless chalu rakh....ye bhi le....koi harmful toh hai nahi....
Did u use long wheat as flour maybe name herbs for ppl who want some information from personswho have researched so well&are winning. Of course everyone has to find their own path but some well lit path if shown would be so beneficial
Of course the heated discussion give valuable insights &add spice .are always welcome
Without cutting down the carbs and increasing fats ...Ayurveda does not work ...
With Low Carb... herbs come to rescue when we want to further cut down on medicines , after stablizing BS to a safe range ...Low carb gives a way out without herbs too ...I dont use Karela, stevia, giloy, kundaru...just methi, amla, vinegar and LCH_ diet(wheatless ), I was able to cut down 500 mg M/F ...Giving up wheat was a good option to achieve desired BS range ...Noticed freshness all day long , better temper and improvement in other parameters after giving up wheat ...the best thing about LCH_ is community about their knowledge of how can we use different Vitamins/minerals to get rid of side effects and achieve good BS range ...after landing to this community my knowledge of nutrition increased a lot and it helped overall for whole family ...everyone like @cure is so much keen to get more knowledge to get rid of D
There are many vitmains/antioxidants which are fat soluble...how would body make up for that??how will we get enough calories to make up for busy demands of the day?
Any other way apart from this in your views ??Believe me we have adapted this method only after getting disappointed by any other methods ...no special attachments
I am a fan of Ayurveda ...and admit its potential ....but can not follow it blindly ...evaluation is necessary
Hidden Great! Please share with us the ayurvedic medicines that you consumed to cure yourself of T2D. Also, your FBS, PPBS, HBA1C and OGTT numbers before and after this treatment.
spirulinea contains vit b12 analog. It is said it is not useful in humans....infact the b12 of spirulinea blocks recepter of b12 in himans..which creates problems in absorption of true b12.
Further.....growing spirulinea at home in tube.....
Do you know what exact temperature is required to grow spirulinea in tube???
And maintaining PH.....you need to be expert in that...only with lot of expertise you will be able to maintain PH exactly required to grow spirulinea.
The culture medium and tanks need to be protected from contamination by foreign algae, insects and toxicity. Also the level of the pond and amount of nutrients needs to be maintained by regularly replacing the fertilizers and water. Further the temperature and pH need to be maintained. Details on how this is done can be found in the manual. It is useful to replace a small amount of the solution with a completely fresh amount, to prevent deterioration of the culture medium.
This is most difficult part...if you fail to maintain temp. and PH the entire stock will get contaminated....and instead of spirulinea you may be ingesting some toxic algae.
diet is the first thing. Medicines comes next. Unless you change your diet nothing can cure you. Not even insulin. Cure is never possible but yes control and reversal is. 🙏🙏🙊🙊
My brother in law detected prediabetic and he started taking madhunashini and after 3 years he says ...his readings are non diabetic and stable...he eat all except less sugar ...he did not do anything special... any supplement ...nor any special diet restriction except sugar ...
There’s much media hype about reversing or curing diabetes, and patients are confused regarding these terms. However, many practitioners agree that bringing an A1c level down from 8.9% to 4.9% is indeed reversing the disease process.
But is John “free of diabetes”? This is where the lines become blurred. Medically speaking, the term “cure” is usually associated with acute disease—a temporary medical condition, such as bacterial pneumonia, that can be cured with antibiotics. For diabetes, which is a chronic disease, it may be more accurate to use the term “remission” rather than cure. Particularly when considering the pathology associated with diabetes and the individual’s genetic predisposition, relapse is always possible. In a consensus statement issued by the ADA, the term remission is defined based on the following definitions:2
• Partial remission: maintenance of blood glucose below diagnostic levels (a prediabetes state) without diabetes medication for at least one year;
• Complete remission: normal blood glucose without diabetes medication for at least one year; and
• Prolonged remission: complete remission for at least five years.
