Tablets and insulin shots will not substitute your the vital requirement of lowering the intake of carbohydrate. If you take medicines and continue to fill yourselved with carb, this is where you reach. Similarly, when you cut down on carb, your medicine requitements come down.

It is very sad to hear that some doctors advise thier patients "take normal food (read stuffing with crab), but take your medicines regularly. These doctors drive pateints to the road's end like Murugan's father.

The bottom line is- food is the first line of attack when you fight diabetes, followed by lifestyle. Medicine ranks only third. Cheers

Hi, is honey good for diabetes ? some ppl say honey is good but some say honey is not good because it contains dissolved sugar ?? (i don't know). But I am taking half spoon of honey with my green tea daily. I am a recently discovered diabetic and trying a lot to improve upon my fasting and PP numbers. Nevertheless, I am also confused on LCHF diet as I am a vegetarian and what to eat and what not to eat is the bet. however, I have almost reduced my rice intake, stopped sugar and sugar products altogether. Any advise on food to be consumed, would be happy if you can share.

Thanks.

Please look for LWMDR and study. It may show some new opening.
