diet for type 1 diabetic

am 22 years young student(53kg,160cm ht) and diagnosed diabetics at 19 .My sugar level is above 200 mostly with HbA1c above 10. I workout 45 min n take insulin too(skips at times). Please suggest me a good diet.

The best diet for type 1 and type 2 diabetics is a high fat, moderate protein and very low carbohydrates per day (30 to 50 grams carbohydrates per day max).

Type 1 will however need to stay on insulin but your dosing requirement will be greatly reduced by doing the ketogenic eating lifestyle. I was a severe type 2 diabetic and have eliminated all insulins and oral pills using a ketogenic diet approach. Go to youtube and Google it.

Also really great news for type 1 diabetics the artificial pancreas is in trials and performing wonderfully...

Dear friend follow a ketogenic diet.Follow the suggestions of Mr anup.Read the book by Breinstein.He is the master of ketogenic diet.There is no substitute for insulin.But insulin pump is available ,it is very costly.Reduce carb to the minimum say 50 grams per day from all sources.Substitute it with good fat and protein.Do some light exercise.Do not leave hope.Develop management to manage diabetes.Wish you all the best.Thanks.
