LWM diet and Insulin plant for type 1.

I read about Long Wheat Mash Diet and Insulin Plant on this blog. It is mostly related to type 2 diabetes cure. I am 21 and was diagnoised as type 1 just 6 months ago. Does these methods help in controlling type1? My FBG is in the range of 100 - 120 and PP is in range of 140 to 170. Has anyone who is type 1 diabetic tried it and found results?

Hi Vigneswari3,

Your blood sugar is somewhat well managed; congratulations.

On Nov 14 (World Diabetes Day) an internationally known Diabetologist wrote in a print media that a Type 1 diabetic has to make at least four blood tests & three insulin injections! That means minimum seven pricking daily on the body!!

I FEEL EXTREMELY SAD FOR THOSE, INCLUDING YOU. That is why even though nobody cares, I keep telling 'some Type 1 diabetic please please try LWMDR'. Your question "Does these methods help in controlling type1?" can be answered meaningfully if & only if some Type 1 diabetic gives a try at LWMDR.

As you know all Type 1's are youngsters. Most youngsters are under the wrong impressions that they are much wiser, logical & cleverer than the rest of the society and that the rest of the world is supposed to serve them in all matters always & everywhere.

Hence ALL Type 1's are waiting for some other less cleverer/cunning one to try LWMDR & come out with results.

Someone has to break the ice. If I were Type 1 I would have tried it; when I became diabetic I DID NOT FOLLOW THE BEATEN TRACK & so my Diabetes got cured with LWMDR!!

Regarding Insulin plant I had clarified with an Aayurveda doctor. He said "this is not a plant/herb of Indian origin & so there are no details available in our shaastra literature & so we (Aayurveda practitioners) do not prescribe or administer any part or preparation of Insulin plant to patients."

Now I repeat my appeal for you also, probably in vain but hope & pray the contrary to happen.

=== TYPE 1 ========================================================

The text below is a "COPY&PASTE STUFF" from my previous replies to some others.

IF YOU HAVE ALREADY SEEN IT, KINDLY IGNORE THIS.

==================================================================

The state of a diabetic is like that of a person walking on a string-bridge or trapeze. Every instant one has to worry, bother & be careful about BALANCE. In case of a diabetic balance between intakes & utilisation. (That is why I decided to try a different route of management when I was diagnosed diabetic (Type 2) in 2006.) It is supposed to be more so in the case of Type 1.

I sincerely wish that some type 1 Diabetes persons try the Long Wheat Mash Diet Regimen which CURED my type 2 diabetes in three years and enables me to be on NORMAL diet from 2009 till date. It can go in parallel with any medication you are otherwise following. That is the advantage of it because it is only a diet.

With even one person (me) getting cured of even Type 2 Diabetes it is amply clear that the Long Wheat Diet can revitalise or reactivate Beta cells of Pancreas. Hence I do hope & expect that same will happen in Type 1 patients also.

Long Wheat is after all a common food grain in use over centuries in several countries. Hence there is no threat of risk; why not you please please give a try for a month or two. In Type 2 cases it has shown amazing improvement in 2-3 days itself.

Please read MY REPLIES part 1, 2, 3 & 4 to question AT diabetesindia.healthunlocke...

Like a licensed driver helping a learner, I can guide you because I am experienced by curing my diabetes (Type-2) in 2009.

If you want to know more, come back here.

IF ANY ONE START LWMDR, DO NOT STOP PRESENT MEDICATION ABRUPTLY; IT WILL CAUSE THE BLOOD SUGAR TO SHOOT UP. TAPER DOWN (REDUCE) MEDICINES GRADUALLY DEPENDING ON REDUCTION OF BLOOD SUGAR, AS PER YOUR DOCTOR'S ADVICE OR BASED ON YOUR JUDGEMENT IN CONSULTATION WITH ME. LWMDR is not just drinking Long Wheat Mash, it is a Diet Regimen.

One has to follow associated restrictions also since Long Wheat does not have muscle power like chemical drugs.

Curing Diabetes is like driving, swimming or bicycling; guidance & supervision are highly desirable while learning.

Please report progress for the benefit of others.

where is this LWMD is available in mumbai? and aurvedic plant name for this insulin plant I am hearing lot about this.

I give you my best wishes to be the first in the world to overcome. I am sure you will. Since many many more suffer from Type 2 the real money and hence more research is out there. You do not lose heart.

I had BG level over 370 fasting and going upto 450 after light food with heavy medicaton. Insulin leaves helped. I took even 4-5 at a time- now i am around 176 after my meal. I still have insulin leaves.

No harm trying.

Also use about 20 paneer dodi or paneer ke phool early morning. Do not eat/drink for 20 min. Soak them in about 180 ml water and squeeze out well, strain and drink.

Make juice of 250 gm Karela and drink about 50 ml empty stomach, then again when yr tummy is empty at 4.00 pm. Karela has plant insulin.

If you can have powder of Jamin seeds about 4 gm with your karela juice. You need to heal yr pancreas.

If you are willing to try I can hlelp guide you with mud therapy to help heal yr pancreas faster. I share all my knowledge only on this page so any bull shit can be challenged. My suggestions are not from a doctor but a trigger to generate debate, increase self help and community help so all can lead fuller life. Dont panic, there is good life for you. Diabetics once they learn a bit, normally live much longer. Smile now

anilgupta101: What are Insulin leaves? Five weeks ago my monthly HBA1C had come to 6.5% from 11.6% in January. Should I take Insulin leaves since I do not take any medication?

What Mr. George says about Insulin plant is true. It is new to India and not mentioned in Charak Samhita. But now gaining popularity more in the South but now all over.

Hi Vigneswari. Congrats on managing it well. You will be fine with insulin, good diet and regular exercise. Unfortunately, any one if you miss: insulin, good diet, regular exercise, your body may lose track. So continue with that.

I wanted to know whether you got type 1 in a hereditary way. Was anyone in your family Type 1 too?

Did you see the names of Long Wheat in the North-eastern states of India, as told by people from there, at appropedia.org/Diabetes_mel... Name in different languages ? Try with those names & photographs there in those states.

Insulin leaves contain Bixin which is supposed to act as a pancreas healer. A jet in midair also needs to run its engine to keep air borne. So those who have suffered earlier are better off taking a leaf a day to increase its life and making it healthier. This way you may be able to keep off medicines whole life. See I am not a doctor. If you find yr tests are good continue. The leaf tastes like raspberry and many used it for taste. When they ate more their BS dropped and this is how the studies may have started.
