I am from Malaysia. My sister is diabetic but she does not take any allopathy medication.

Her sugar ranges from 7 - 9% in the morning lately. Before that her reading was always around 6.5 % and her HbA1c was 6.5% which is considered good control.

Actually the seed of so called "thenkai" was given by my friend for trial. How ever on talking to him i understand that it may be available in "Pazhamudir nilayam" a chain stores in chennai. From one of them i got the following phone number from where may find the availability of seed / leaves. It is too early to report any improvement as any result can been seen only after 48 days.

Thank you so much for your concern. My sister is 60 and type 2 diabetic. Actually she has not started on any allopathy medication because her sugar level has always been 5.5 -6.5. She has been on herbal treatments from siddha medicine and homeopathy treatment. It was pretty under control until lately her sugar has been rising gradually until 10.0. About her diet she is very concerned of her health so she hardly consumes anything which has sugar content, She consumes only parboiled rice and takes oats every morning. She is also a hypertension patient but it is under control. She has fatty liver whereby she has not taken any medication. I hope you can help my sister in some way. Thank you.
