How long back you got your kidney transplantation . How is your BP and condition of heart. A little detail will help.

Commonly it take time for readjustment of dosing of insulin. Give some time for your kidney to settle. At this time your immune system is kept at minimum function. Please do not do any thing in haste. Keep in touch with your doctor.

Mr.ranga, it's hardly over two months of your kidney transplant. It is not known how it came that you lost your both kidneys.so you are with very recently transplanted kidney. This is the transition period, when utmost precaution is to be taken to safe guard your kidney from infection, systemic load etc. Your nephrologist must have advised you accordingly. Please do not socialise ,always wear face mask specially when visitors are with you. Should avoid meeting many people.

Be very particular about your diet. Stick to the prescribed diet .

Please remember your diet has to be finely balanced, because of diabetes, hypertension and kidney function.

Please follow the advice given in letter and spirit.

GET WELL SOON.

Yes Cutting down carbs drastically and replacing with FAT aka LCHF diet helps a lot. Diabetics with multiple bypass surgeries are now on 65% FAT and reduced insulin from 100 units to 50 and yet all reports are great.

Mr. Rangarao, Try reduce intake of carbohydrates. Use sprouted Ragi flour for making dosa and eat in the morning.

Given that you have had a kidney transplant. You should take utmost care and frankly follow your doctor's advise. I do hope you are also under some endocrinologist, it would not surprise me if they decided to change your insulin.

Given your recent medical history I would not suggest you take any medical advise on this blog without your dr's consent. Take care.
