ANS testing is very important in diagnosing heart decease than lipid testing.

Many diabetic speciality clinics follow WHO guidelines for managing diabetes.LIFESPAN seems to have developed it's own systems. We can not say whether it is really needed, given the availability of traditional speciality care for diabetes.I am not sure about the costs involved in this system. That would be a decisive factor.

Hi I have visited lifespan this guys do test on pulse basis and when the report came the doctor told me that ur body is producing enough insulin my doctor has given me wrong medicine (glycomet 850, gp1 & neurobion forte cost me 300 for a month) then she prescribed me janumet50/100, flunil, Rosuvas, volibo 0.5, pioz mf 7.5 this all medicines are too costly around Rs.2500 for a month. If u ask my opinion this lifespan is nothing just a clinic opened by big name pharmaceutical company to sell there costly medicine. I would recommend you continue with ur doctor don't opt for it

I had the test twice and the results explained, however I was not convinced about their methodology and advised to go for daily glucometer readins, go to dietician for the diets, an insulin pharma representative would give advise how to use their product, in both the cases it was something like teaching first standard kid when the kid has already passed sixth standard, they repeat whatever little known to them, I would prefer to go the the physician and diabetic care centre who take test related to the sugar level, Hb A1, uric acid, glucoma test etc., and how to reduce the sugar level with the proper5 medications dosage and excercises.

Dear All

I received five response on my query. Thanks. Forum has helped me to get right support. On the face of it aggressive marketing makes old timers more careful. Replies received proves the point. I agree to follow our standard doctors and their advice sincerely instead of going to high sounding suggestions.

I remember, during a detail examination (carried out before proceeding abroad as a precaution), young doctors showed unhappiness on choice of my BP medicine since he felt much better medicines are in the market. Fact remains, I have done very well with that old combination f Nefidimine and Atenol since 1982. Why change without special reason?

Thanks once again.

You can ask them if they carry our only ANS and nerve testing. Don't go for their consultancy for diabetes. ANS testing is important considering heart problem. It is the main cause of heart attack if there is imbalance.
