My last medical report shows T3 result as 94 , T4 result as 7' 7 and TSH as 9' 99 . Is any medication required? Can somebody enlighten me on my problem?

Your T3,value94 (reference rang 60-200ng/dl) T4 value 7.70(reference range 4.5-12ug/dl) are with in range as per Thyrocare laboratories ,only THYROID STIMULATION HORMONE(TSH) ( reference range 0.30-5.50) is more,it means your thyroid is under active.. Thyroid harmonies affect nearly every organ in the body and can influence how quickly the heart beats.Peoples with hypothyroidism may notice their heart rate is slower than usual. Hyperthyroidism may cause the heart to speed up,it can also tigger blood pressure and sensation of a pounding heart or other type of heart palpitations.

The result of TSH test should be considered along with results of thyroid hormone testes especially thyroxine (T4) results.

What affects the TSH test- Taking medicines such as corticosteroids ,heporin,dopamine or lithium(such as Lithobid)

Having had recent xray with iodine dye,or test using radioactive materials,

Having severe stress or long term (chronic )illness.

consult your Doctor for further guidance or treatment,but one Endocrinologist said it needs no treatment if it is below 10.

Go for Free T3 and Free T4 tests also, before starting treatment. Starting medications based on TSH alone is a flawed approach.

Have you got any of the hypothyroid symptoms ? Looking at TSH values it is indication of hypothyroidism. But as user Meetu77 has pointed out free T4 and free T3 levels are more important. If these values are lower then you will need treatment.

i have tyroid bp and diabatics for the past 10 years. i am aged 78.i am taking medines.now i have a problem .my right foot is swelling.why is this swelling in my right foot alone.if any body guide me i will be thank full them.
