I am 38 yrs old male, height 5 feet 7inch and weight approx 80 KG living in USA.Last month (03/06) i felt congestion from chest to neck/jaw and little sweating so thought there are some gas problem so taken Pefiz then felt good and went for sleep. After 2 days due to sat/sunday took doctor appointment and explain the thing whatever happen to doc.She prescribed Mucinex for cough release , amoxicilin 500 and done some lab test.I was feeling good in next 2-3 days but Lab report said Hemoglobin A1C 7.4,Glucose-114 ,Cholestrol 234,Triglycerides 200,HDL 38 LDL 156 mg/dl so started flax seed, cinnamon + honey and proper diet. She also refer to Cardiologist and he started some test like ECG that abnormal, EKG is ok then Nuclear Stress Test that is abnormal as per doctor. Now he suggest to do Angiography/angiogram and if he find more that 70 % Blockage then stent placement. Now i am afraid my parent want to do further testing or stent stuff in India as i am living alone here. Please suggest me what should i do even i am doing daily 30-40 min morning walk and 30 mins evening but not feeling any congestion/pain after 6 March night. Thank You!

Your health condition certainly needs close attention by doctors.Fortunately in India we have access to high quality, relatively less expensive medical care if you find it difficult in US.Your basic problem may be your weight.Ideally you should be around 70 kg

Your ECG is abnormal and so is Stress Test,so angiography is logical. Please go for it .It is painless and virtually non invasive procedure.

Go for stenting in India or where ever you are. I faced same problem.

Triglycerides says it all -- 200 (means VLDL 40). Triglycerides soar because of High Carbs. You are insulin resistant too, which means you would be carrying more insulin in blood and insulin is a vaso constrictor. In any case, go for all the necessary tests.

Dear,

In the night, take 2/3 garlic pods, crush and put it in the boiling milk and let it boil so that the essence of the garlic is mixed well and add little turmeric powder say 2/3 gms and drink regularly. All the arteries /blockages will be cleared and also eat plenty of raw onions, if baby onion is available it is good as this purifies the blood well.

This i saw in one of the television channels of native Medicine.

Get well at the earliest

High Triglycerides will lead you one day to High Sugar and as everybody said it technically means you are eating more calories than what you burn. Follow this very basic food eating tips:

1. Eat only when ur hungry [dont go eat lunch just bz its 1 pm...dont eat time basis]

2. Chew 25 times [count literally each bite]

3. Dont drink water before or during or after food for 1 hr minimum.

4. Stop when you get 1st Burp while eating. When you chew 25 time, you will get burp - its a signal that ur full.

I am also in US...

Wish you get well soon

Triglycerides still very HIGH. You will need to cut down carbs because TG shoots up as a result of carbs and it is TG which is real fat in blood and one of the worst offenders as far as good health goes.
